A Slice of Satire

John Duncklee is a master of the short story. He has been a cowboy, rancher, quarter horse breeder, university professor, and award-winning author of twenty-eight books and two hundred articles, poetry, and short stories. He is a Western Writers of America Spur Award winner and was awarded a $5000 unrestricted fellowship for writing excellence by the Arizona Commission on the Arts. He lives in Las Cruces, N.M. with his wife, Penny, an accomplished watercolorist.
