Hell Hole: Murder in the Mine
It was called an accident twenty-seven hundred feet deep in a Comstock Lode gold mine near Virginia City, Nevada. But Matt Hawke decided it was murder and charged out to prove it. He's a pioneer lawyer in 1876 and smells murder.
The dead man is the mine owner and is worth over twenty million dollars. Matt is handling the estate and will and thinks he has it settled when a new third heir shows up to further complicate the will and the murder.
Matt survives three attempts on his life, works to discredit the third heir, and traps the killer. He struggles to bring all of the pieces of the puzzle together before time runs out.
