Reluctant Redemption

Following the Civil War, Zac Trimbell knows he is no longer the same man as when he left. Fighting the internal demons brought on from his experiences in the violent and inhuman conditions of war he soon learns that he suffers from PTSD.

As Zac is dragged into hopelessness, he moves forward with fierce determination, leading old neighbors and freed slaves west to the Colorado gold fields, hoping for a new start. He later finds himself in Las Vegas, New Mexico where he is called to help a family in need.
