The Ecstasy of Pain

After committing multiple murders in Utah and Colorado back in 1959, Frank Catton, then 19, relocates from Colorado to California and finds success in Los Angeles as a hitman for the Mob. Seven years later, Det. Al Wilde from Colorado follows Frank to LA in order to assist Detectives Gus Franz and Cicero Carr of the Hollywood Police division in their investigation of Frank for the murder of Barney Dubal, a local pimp and drug dealer, who abused and nearly murdered Brittany Friedman, 16 years old. After her mother Olga hires him to kill Dubal, justice takes a turn in Frank’s favor.
