Paul Ebbs

Former psychiatric nurse and rabid Formula One fanatic, Paul Ebbs is the screenwriter of over twenty drama scripts broadcast on UK TV as well as a clutch of audio plays and an SF comedy film. He’s also the author of approaching thirty books for adults and children.

Paul Ebbs is thoroughly enjoying the opportunity at Wolfpack to create and write his own Weird Western series BLOODSTONE.

He says, “I couldn't be happier to be playing in my own sandpit at last, with my own characters. I've long harbored the desire to write a Western – I've been a reader of the original Piccadilly Cowboys books (British authors writing hard edged, gritty Westerns like ‘Edge' and ‘Herne the Hunter') since God was a boy, so to have a crack myself is a dream come true. BLOODSTONE is a bit more than just a Western – it has an extra layer of supernatural horror on top. It's going to be a heady mix of gun-slinging, terror and all sorts of other fun.”

Paul is no stranger to genre fiction having written a novel in the BBC Doctor Who range, The Book of the Still – and has written scripts for police TV series The Bill and written for two medical dramas in the UK Casualty and Doctors.

He’s hoping to have a day off sometime in 2024. Maybe 2025…
